HIPWIR combines track time with understanding
Created for experienced Nordschleife drivers, the HIPWIR course is our unique Open Pitlane Driver Training programme.
Over three days, you’ll combine maximum track time with one-to-one coaching, individual Video Reviews and direct access to the strongest team of the most experienced Nürburgring pro instructors anywhere in the world. (länk till Instructors)
Working in small groups, you’ll enjoy a highly flexible format that comes as close as possible to fully personalised driver training.
While our Spring Course helps you learn the Nordschleife through a combination of Section Training and Open Pitlane driving, our HIPWIR course helps you learn more from the Nordschleife.
Built around 100% Open Pitlane driving, HIPWIR gives you the freedom to work on your understanding, strengthen your confidence and continue developing safer and stronger pace.

Over three days, you’ll spend as much time as possible on track while working closely with your instructor.
With only six to seven drivers per Pro Instructor, you’ll never be just another car on track. Every driver arrives with different experience, ambitions and goals, and your coaching is tailored based on this.

The Programme
Arrival & welcome
Our HIPWIR course begins by bringing everyone together at the Nürburgring.
At check-in, you’ll meet your fellow participants, your group coach and instructors while getting into the spirit of the days ahead. You’ll also bring your car so we can help you get the event stickers on, get organised and ready for the days ahead.
From there, we come together for our Welcome & Driver Briefing before rounding off the evening with dinner together with your group.
Whether you are returning to Scuderia Hanseat or joining us for the first time, Sunday is about reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones and preparing for three unforgettable days on track.

We start the week out on the tarmac with our one-hour Calibration Session. Together with your instructors and group coach, we’ll visit a selection of key Nordschleife sections while aligning on the mindset, principles and expectations for the week ahead, and how we can best support your development throughout the event.
From there, the focus shifts to a full day of Open Pitlane Driver Training. This first day helps establish your direction for the days ahead. Together, we’ll identify strengths to build on, opportunities to explore and your greatest opportunities for progress.

A full day dedicated to Open Pitlane Driver Training. With extensive track time and continuous support from your instructors, you’ll have the freedom to focus on your own development and spend as much time as possible on track.
Having identified the greatest opportunities for progress on Day 2, you’ll spend Day 3 exploring them in greater depth while continuing to uncover new opportunities for development through Open Pitlane driving, one-to-one coaching and individual Video Reviews.

One final day
One final day to bring everything together.
Open Pitlane Driver Training continues throughout the day, giving you further opportunities to work with your instructors and continue developing your driving.
In the afternoon, the event concludes with the Evolution Lap. Driving one full Nordschleife lap at your own pace, with 24 instructors positioned around the circuit, you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate everything you’ve worked on throughout the event.
The Evolution Lap is not the end of your development journey, but the beginning of your next chapter on the Nordschleife.
In the evening, we come together one final time to celebrate the week we’ve shared at our Closing Dinner and Award Night.
Dedicated Group Driving Sessions
Based on feedback from participants at our 2025 HIPWIR course, we have the ambition to introduce a few dedicated Group Driving Sessions during each day of the event.
Depending on weather, track conditions and participant composition, drivers may be divided into two groups based on pace and experience. While one group is on track, the other takes the opportunity to relax, refuel, review onboard footage or spend time with fellow participants before switching over.
The aim is not to reduce track time, but to further enhance driving quality by creating greater flow, more space and a more enjoyable driving experience. By bringing together drivers with similar pace, ambition and mindset, we can create an environment that allows everyone to get even more from their time on track.
As with all elements of HIPWIR, the format remains flexible and will be adapted to the conditions and opportunities presented during the event.

CO-DRIVER TICKET

This ticket is for your Co-driver. You are free to share the driving as you like during the HIPWIR course and you may also ride with each other as passengers. During the HIPWIR course the video review and the Evaluation lap is for the Driver.

Daytime – Lunch and hospitality
- Day 2-4 (the three days on track) morning coffee, lunch, refreshments through out the day.
Three dinners
- Day 1 and 2 – The evening dinners are included. You pay for your choice of drinks at the table.
- Day 3 – This is your “evening off” where you spend the evening as you like. This is at your own expense.
- Day 4- Award dinner – Drinks are included during dinner and the drinks in the bar after the dinner are extra.
